Through feminist eyes, its still their vision and a very narrow view of fashion and beauty.
Writing that article today struck a nerve for some reason. I found myself thinking about my college sociology classes and some of the powerful feminist professors I had the honor of learning from. Those women shaped me and how I see the world and the women in it. They opened my eyes to a more diverse view.
I get goosebumps thinking of it really because it makes me see what a long way we have to go. Weve come a long way baby, but we have miles and miles to go before we are all accepted and respected.
